LabCorp Ordering and Donor Experience

Workflow Expectations:

  1. Order will be submitted into the system via manual entry or Swifthire
  2. Email sent to donor with Labcorp Registration (see sample below)
    1. Contains Registration Number
    2. Displays Registration Expiration Date and Time (standard 3 day expiration)
    3. Displays top 5 closest Labs based on donor’s address
    4. Displays ESS’ contact information for questions
  3. Upon Registration, a note will appear on the report in ESS’ Web Portal for confirmation. Additional statuses from Labcorp will appear as the test processes through lab testing.

Client View of Statuses:

  1. Lab results will update automatically once the test is taken, and results are processed
    1. Note: Results from MRO will be processed under the current workflow with ESS
  2. ESS will follow existing client specified protocol for expired registrations
    1. A new registration with the expiration reset to the client specified time can be generated by resubmitting the search. A new order is not required. Resubmitting will regenerate a new registration email, with new registration #Sample Email to Donor:
