Questions About Drug Testing Services
What does the result 'negative dilute' mean?
This result indicates that the donor was too hydrated at the time of the collection to allow ESS to provide accurate results for their drug screening. This does not necessarily mean that the donor had drugs in his or her system.
What if my applicant needs a new drug test passport or to extend their drug testing time window?
Please contact our drug testing department at drugresults@es2.com or by calling 866-859-0143.
Does CBD Oil show up in a drug test?
Pure CBD will not show up in a test for THC. However, products that are marketed as “THC-free” may actually have some trace amounts of THC, which may lead to a positive drug test. In this case it would be extremely difficult to determine whether the positive test was due to use of a tainted CBD oil or the use of marijuana.
Can I change or add a drug to my current panel?
Please contact our drug testing department at drugresults@es2.com or by calling 866-859-0143.
Can ESS provide electronic drug screen registrations?
Yes. We use Labcorp, Quest, and e-Screen which provide electronic registrations.
How long does it take to get a drug screen result back?
24 to 48 hours from the time the lab receives it for negatives, additional testing or problem samples may take an additional 48 to 72 hours. Please note that a longer-than-normal wait time does not necessarily mean that the donor has a verified positive test result.
